The article, however, is not meant to debate the causes or justification for a particular war, but to analyze television war coverage. I have unyielding respect for the men and women who serve in the armed forces and have intense sorrow and sympathy for innocents who lose their lives in armed conflict. This article is not intended to diminish their sacrifices, but to search out the truth.
